9/8/08 The new website is almost finished, We have put up several videos but still have work to do in the music and picture sections. For now don't bother to click on any of the band picture pages because no pics have been uploaded. We are still transitioning from the old server. Also more lyrics will be posted. WASTEKREW Oi Oi Oi

5/23/08 it's Been quite some time, but I've finally revamped & moved the waste site. It's not completely finished yet but it's close. I still need to add pictures and music. But for now enjoy!

11/20/06 The Punxgiving show was great, there were lots of kids and everyone brought food. Many thanx to Zuke and Dave for setting up such a killer show.
There are some new song lyrics posted up. the songs are titled Broken Mind & Casualty/Amputee.

10/25/06 USA Waste will be playing at the Brunswick,Maine UU church on Sunday October 29th for a Vegan Potluck Halloween show at 6pm, I think it's $5, $3 if your costume is cool. Thanx to Ryan for setting this show up

10/25/06 Well, we've been back for awhile and I'm just know getting a tour news page together for the "Riding Dirty" tour. Named that, because the Van itself was uninspected, had no rear seats, D-tox kept running red lights and blazing thru EZ passes, besides that we couldn't escape the song "riding dirty" despite the fact the van had no radio. The 3rd van in a row without tunes. So hit up the '06 Tour News link below

USA Waste Tour Sept 2006

9/21/06 Tomorrow is the start of our tour. We would like to thank these people for their help: JoAnne, Melanie, Bert, Ariel, Rejected Society, Piracy, Jay & Psychotic Reaction. the waste is looking foward to rocking many faces, meeting some great new people, & seeing some great live music. Hope we see you at a show!

We've also printed up a new patch design and t-shirts in other sizes besides medium since everyone has been pissed they can't get their size.

8/30/06 check out the new pics from the Anti-American Folk Festival the Waste staged at Pickering Square in Bangor Maine

7/10/06 USA Waste is getting ready to head out on the road at the end of sept. We are looking for help with booking. As shows are confirmed the tour schedule will be updated. Any and all help would be awesome. Remember we don't require any guarentees but gas money and a place to crash is always nice.
Please check out the SHOWS page.

6/21/06 The waste just finished recording 5 tracks for an upcoming split 7" they will be releasing. Daren from Seal Man Investigation did an awesome job with the recording and is currently in the process of mixing it down. The final mix should be finished by next week. Out of the 5 songs, at least 3 will be on the record and the left overs will be available for compilation releases.
The Waste is also looking to do another tour at the end of Sept., from sept 22nd to oct 2nd. Shortly will be posting show dates as they become set and others that are still needed. So please check back and let us know if you can be of any help.

6/9/06 the Loud Fast Rules issue #4 is out now

The waste is featured on the compilation cd that comes with the zine. "Brave New World" from the Running From the Pigs cd is track #8 on the LFR comp.

6/6/06 the may 27th show we had moved to Brett Threat's house turned out great. Two bands didn't show up however no one was left disappointed. Clinic Bomb opened the show and got things going. Piracy ripped it up as always and it will be great to get them back to Maine soon. The Nerve Endings & the Waste closed out the show. Later it would become known that there were several complaints to the county and state police. However due to lack of noise ordinances in the town of Dedham nothing could be done. The Punx Have one this time!!!!!!
At the Show Jesse A. Hippie became the only member of USA Waste to play all the instruments at live shows over the course of the bands existance. to give a brief rundown:
* Jesse replaced Crusty Jon Bon Jovi on the drums in 1999 later to be replaced by Pope
* in 2003 he replaced Chris Flynn as the bass player only to move to Arizona & be replaced by D-tox
* on 5/27/06 Jesse, up from arizona, rocked the guitar, while Brett gripped the mic for part of the set.
Thus completing the unthinkable and forging his name into the Wastekrew history book.
The band is currently looking into recording for an upcoming split 7" to be released on CRR Records. The other band is T.B.A. shortly after the 7" inch. usa waste will be recording and releasing a full length of new material.

5/02/06 We have set up an awesome show on May 27th in Eddington,Me with Piracy and Mouth Sewn Shut (features members of Toxic Narcotic & the Profits) and we need as many people to come out to this show to show these out of state bands why it's worth the trip up here. Hopefully with a good turn out they will be willing to make the trek up again and also spread the word of how good shows in Maine are. This show will also be last show we film for The DVD we've been working for the past year. No word on when it will be finished but it is in the works. Also Travis is planning on coming up to film for another great DIM Vids release.
On June 1st the latest issue of Loud Fast Rules will be coming out (a zine with both widely known "punk" bands and more underground streetpunk bands). USA Waste will be featured on the compilation cd that comes with the issue. we will also be featured in a 1/2 page ad promoting our releases so if you spot it at the newsstand pick it up.
So last month the waste pulled two shows out of their asses. the 1st was at the K.A.C.C in Orono,Me. Since D-Tox was away Bill Bomb filled in again on bass. The reason we the waste ended up playing was because 3 other bands slated to play were not able to make it, mostly because it was Easter Sunday. (stupid christians) Arno ended up letting all those who came in for free and it ended up being a very excellent show. The 2nd show was at the Youth Activist rally in South China,ME put on by Ariel. The band was all there just to watch the show and she asked us to play so we rocked many faces.
The History page has been updated with newly written songs and some previously forgotten tracks from the early years with Crusty John Bon Jovi. I was listening to an old recording done by Ian from Pinko & the Action Boys at the Action House in 1999 and found some songs I didn't remeber we even had. I'm sure some of you who were around for the creation remember them because they were songs released on our early demo entitled the Basement tapes.

3/01/06 If anyone caught our set at the 251 Club in Billerica,MA you might have noticed that we were fortunate to have 2 fill in bass players at the show because D-tox told us he couldn't make it at the last minute. Bill Bomb, the guitarist from Clinic Bomb, learned 13 songs in the 10 days leading up to the show and did an awesome job, without him we wouldn't have sounded nearly as good. We planned on playing some other songs as a 2 piece to lengthen the set a little but during "Brave New World", Dom, the bassist for Severe Impact jumped on stage and started playing along with us for the last 3 songs. some pictures taken by the Jonee Earthquake kids have been posted up in the picture section CLICK HERE. also a huge Thanx to Natassia again for setting up a killer show and letting us crash at her house.
the show we had for march 4th in Ellsworth was cancelled because the UU church once again pulled the plug on live shows. but we are trying to put together a weekend of shows at the begining of April.

1/29/06 by Request of Arno(of the nerve endings) the waste will again be playing Gun Control live. It can be found on the Drunken Battle Hymns cd, which is currently in the process of being re-released. Many of you may already know that the initial pressing was D.I.Y. The band invested in a console CD burning unit instead of a pressing plant. This time around it will not be much different, just flashier packaging but the same price $5 ppd also the Running from the Pigs ep is being shipped out for repress, so it should be available again in a couple of weeks.

12/02/05 The 1st pressing of "Running From the Pigs" is almost sold out so we will be repressing it later this month. Your last chance to get a first pressing will probably be at the Underground show in Bangor on Dec 9th.
In other news the waste has been working very diligently on a bunch of new tunes and are planning on heading back into the studio by late January/early Febuary

10/24/05 A huge thanx to Natashia, Chris, Taylor,Travis,Les for helping us out on our tour. the tour went very well, for the first time we didn't lose any money & brought the van home still running. Other than the complete meltdown of our instruments in Albany (sorry Chris!) all the shows went awesome. We met many cool kids along the way and hopefully soon we will all get to meet up again next time the waste heads out on the road.

9/21/05 the art work for the Ep has been completed and it all has been sent of to the pressing plant. the EP will be entitled "running from the pigs". We'd like to thank our friend Junebug for doing the cover art for us.
if you have been keeping up with the tour schedule you will notice it has changed. We now will be headed out to Illinois in stead of down south. We havn't had much luck getting contacts so the tour will be shorter than we had hoped but will still be awesome.
Recently the waste sent out the song "bud" to be on the 0 to 60 compilation to be released at the begining of next year. the premise of the comp is all songs have to be under 60 secs.

9/12/05 the Waste has decided to go ahead and release the studio recording as an EP entitled "Running From the Pigs". also the band is currently restructuring the Oct tour so keep checking back for updates as they occur.
Dub will be putting together "Drunk Fest", a free outdoor show in Dexter, ME on Oct 8th. It will be a mix of punk, hardcore, & ska. They will be taking up donations for the bands though. So far the bands playing are Jules Verne, Seal Man Investigation, USA Waste and the K with more T.B.A

8/22/05 the Waste has planned on heading out on tour October 13th thru the 23rd. We have just started setting up the tour so it may take time to get the show listings posted. However the planned schedule according to location and time frame is posted on the show listing. If you happen to live in the areas we are coming to and can give us any info to help us out it would be very appreciated.
Currently we are getting new pins printed up and planning on releasing EP for the tour. stay tuned for more tour info as it is received.

7/24/05 Big Thanx to all the kids who stuck around in Haverhill,Ma to see us rock. Hopefully you all will be seeing more of us in the future.
The waste has plans to do a tour in October so keep checking back in for updates.

7/14/05 There are up dated show listings to go along with the new menu bar that was added for easier site navigation.

7/5/05 Today we put up a flyer page, if you are interrested in checking out a few old waste show flyers: FOR FLYERS
There are more shows listed as well at the bottom of the page

6/21/05 A Big Thanx to Marlo & Arno for setting up great shows at the K.A.C.C in Orono and to all the kids who came out. Also there are new pics being placed on the site from Arno's 6/11 show so check em out!

5/21/05 You may have noticed we finally have some some shows coming up, after an extended break and change in members. Thanx to Arno & Marlo we will be playing consective weekends at the Keith Anderson Community Center in Orono 6/11 & 6/18. also the song Another Cold War is going to be released on an FNS comp & the waste will also be playing Haverhill,Ma thanx to Elie Falcon from the Knox.

4/3/05 Yesterday we recorded with Robbie Rekless at Brown Dog Studios and the tunes came out awesome. We recorded 8 tracks which are:

  1. Another Cold War
  2. No Excuse
  3. Brave New World
  4. Politics of God
  5. What Gives?
  6. Depression
  7. Running from the pigs with paint on our hands

The plan for this recording is to send out to various labels, show promoters & compilations to further the bands name so that come september/october the waste will have no problem embarking on its 4th tour. With any luck in the near furture you will be able to get your hands on these tasty tracks. Until then we have the "Living the High Life" 8 song demo we recorded live in practice space with Steve-o.

2/28/05 Today the Waste spent their practice time recording a 7 to 8 track demo. After several minor setbacks and the producer passing out, they finally got down to business and busted out the needed tracks. It is possible that the demo might be available for the 3/12th show.

1/15/05 To let you all know Pope has decided to move on citing that he no longer has time to play with the Waste. No Need to fear, the Waste will still be seen rocking with new drummer Dub. After 2 practices they have already learned 4 old songs and a new one written by Daren entitled "No Excuse". Long time fans will notice some changes but they will not be disappointed. The Waste will continue rocking faces so be prepared!

The tour that was going to be scheduled for May is postponed until the bands gets all the songs down, however they are planning on Recording a 4 or 5 song demo with Robbie Rekless to shop around to labels in hopes of getting a full length or 7" released.

Also Travis from Freedom Assualt has recently released the Maine Punx: Live,Loud & Punk DVD on his DIM label. It features Pinko & The Action Boys, Scary Mary, A.A., Schwag, the jimmies, Tom Savage Explosion, Freedom Assault, Company Anthem, the Drunken Degenerates and USA Waste.
